Cancellations and changes
clear, fair rules

No fine print. Cancelling more than 24 hours before pickup is always free. Most changes are too. The full rules are below.

Refund tiers

Cancellation rules in three tiers

Cancellation between 24 and 4 hours before pickup: 50% refund.

Changes

What you can change

For most changes: free up to 24 hours before the ride.

Date or time

Free up to 24h before the ride. Closer than that depends on availability and season — call us and we'll see what's possible.

Vehicle type

Comfort → Premium, Van or VIP upgrade: surcharge known up front. Downgrade: partial refund. Free up to 24h before pickup.

Pickup or drop-off address

Change within the same city: free. A substantially different starting point may carry a small fee (€7.50/extra stop or €0.55/km for detours).

Number of travellers

More people than the vehicle seats: upgrade needed. Fewer people: price stays the same (the fixed price is per vehicle, not per person).

Add or change a flight number

Always free. Email or WhatsApp us your new flight number — we'll link it to live tracking.

How it works

Find your booking reference

It's in your confirmation email or on your personal booking page (the link in that email).

Get in touch

Email info@schipholride.nl, send a WhatsApp or call 085 060 2543 with your reference and what you'd like to change or cancel.

We confirm

We process the change or cancellation and confirm by email. For changes we check availability and any price difference.

Refund if applicable

If a cancellation is eligible for a refund, it arrives on the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a no-show?+

The driver waits up to 15 minutes after the agreed pickup time. If you do not appear at the pickup address within those 15 minutes and cannot be reached by phone, this counts as a no-show: the ride is forfeited with no refund.

What if my flight is cancelled — do I still get my money back?+

Yes. With proof of a flight cancellation we can move your booking to your replacement flight at no extra cost, or fully refund you even within 4 hours of pickup. Call us straight away on 085 060 2543.

How long does a refund take?+

5–7 business days back to the original payment method. iDEAL is usually faster (3–5 days); credit card refunds can take up to 10 business days depending on your bank.

I made a change but never got a confirmation+

Check your spam/junk folder. Nothing there? Call 085 060 2543 or email info@schipholride.nl with your booking reference.

Can I transfer my booking to someone else?+

Yes. Send us the new name and phone number by email or WhatsApp. No fees.

What if I'm unsure about cancelling and time is short?+

Cancel first (a 50% refund beats a no-show with 0%). Decide later — if you still want the ride, call 085 060 2543 right away and we'll arrange a new booking as fast as we can. If a vehicle is still free, often the same driver too.
